Boulder Sacred Rest Series ~ Softening Into Winter

Attuning to Nature’s Rhythms

Softening Into Winter

Sacred Rest is a philosophy for living life in harmony with the many seasons and cycles of our bodies and the natural world.  It honors the notion that we are meant to enjoy life and be present with the simple pleasures of being human.

The wisdom of the feminine knows that when we create space to rest and just 'be', potent cycles of creativity, clarity, and healing naturally follow.  When we can approach our awakening from a place of wholeness, and not from trying to fix, heal, or improve, we move beyond resistance and begin to flow with the myriad of supportive earthly and universal forces.  Together as women we will reclaim our sovereign right to live according to our natural rhythms.

This nourishing container offers space to rest and honor your body through breath, deep relaxation, song, and herbal medicine.  It is a space for natural integration and rejuvenation for all levels of your being.  Together we will attune to the natural forces of our own personal cycles and the changing season of fall into winter.  We will be serenaded with the medicine of 3 different prominent female CO musicians.  Gentle facilitation from Aja will guide you into restorative breath and body relaxation where you can simply rest into your beingness...where there is no one to be, nowhere to go, and nothing to do.

About Aja Rose

Aja's healing journey started at the age of six with the onset of daily chronic migraines, which spanned over 20 years. After growing up subject to Western medicine, she hit rock bottom in college and made the choice to embark on a personal healing journey that took her around the world and into many different alternative modalities. After healing the migraines she has continued to facilitate breathwork for the past six years. She most resonates with styles that are gentle, subtle, and restorative. She also weaves in the medicine of loving touch, Reiki, abdominal massage, song, and plant wisdom.

Aja is passionate about supporting others to trust in their own wisdom and to remember what it means to awaken to the true nature of reality. The nourishing container she holds is one of freedom, presence, and allowance of what is. She is passionate about an ever evolving philosophy of ‘Sacred Rest’. This deep rest occurs on all levels of our being, and allows any false narratives and identities to fall away, where we can truly ‘rest’ into beingness.

She feels most alive being surrounded by beauty, mostly through nature, ceremony, and co-created music.
